About Me

- I am a retired performing arts teacher and professional violinist. I turned to writing after teaching and now I devote all my time to writing and creating the art to go with the books. I have a musician husband and 3 kids who are all in different professions; medicine, songwriter, and an artist-in-residence at an upstate NY college. My website is all about the books I've written for kids (a couple for adults to enjoy too), accompanying original watercolor art, tee shirts, original watercolor cards, and the WHEEL of ARTS, which is a curriculum based on arts in academics.
